Sistem Instrumentasi berfungsi untuk mengendalikan operasi seluruh peralatan yang terdapat di anjungan pengeboran minyak. Jumlah alat instrument (seperti control valve, transmitter, gauge, switch, detector, analyzer, indicator dll) yang mencapai ribuan memerlukan sebuah sistem database untuk menyimpan seluruh informasi spesifikasi peralatan guna optimalisasi design, manajemen penyediaan, pengoperasian, perawatan alat, dll. Training Instrumentation for Oil & Gas membahas prinsip-prinsip perancangan sistem instrumentasi dalam bidang industri oil&gas. Diharapkan setelah mengikuti training peserta mampu melakukan perancangan sistem instrumentasi sebuah pengeboran minyak/faslitas oil&gas dengan menggunakan software INTOOLS serta mampu melaksanakan tugas-tugas Yunior Instrument Engineer di sebuah proyek desain pengeboran minyak.
